Calcium Formate

Calcium formate has wide applications in various fields such as industry, agriculture, feed, food, and medicine. Its main functions and uses are as follows:

1. Construction Industry: Calcium formate can be used as an early-strength agent and waterproofing agent for concrete, accelerating cement hydration, improving early 

strength, shortening curing time, improving concrete performance, and enhancing frost resistance and impermeability.

Other Industrial Uses: In the petroleum industry, calcium formate can be used as a drilling fluid additive; in the paper industry, it can be used as a sizing agent; in the 

textile industry, it can be used as a printing and dyeing auxiliary agent.

2. Feed Additive: Calcium formate can promote animal appetite, reduce diarrhea rates, improve feed conversion rates, and enhance animal immunity and bone development. 

Adding 1%-1.5% calcium formate to piglet feed can significantly improve the production performance of weaned piglets.

3. Leather Industry: Calcium formate can be used as an auxiliary tanning agent, improving the softness and fullness of leather, and enhancing water resistance and corrosion

 resistance. 

4. Agricultural Fertilizer: Calcium formate, as a calcium fertilizer, can supplement the calcium needed by crops, enhance their resistance to adverse conditions, and improve 

yield and quality. It can also regulate soil pH and improve soil structure.

Medical Uses: Calcium formate can be made into oral preparations to treat calcium deficiency in humans and is also a good crop growth regulator.
